The Content Creation & Hosting role is a dynamic position that requires a balance of on-camera confidence, creative writing, brand storytelling, and basic video editing. As the face of our brand, you will interact with restaurants, chefs, and customers while crafting engaging video content, social media posts, and food-related stories that resonate with our audience.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🎤 Host and Present Branded Content
- Serve as the on-camera host for short-form and long-form videos featuring restaurant reviews, interviews, and behind-the-scenes tours.
- Represent our brand during live events, food festivals, and culinary showcases.
✍️ Content Strategy & Copywriting
- Write compelling scripts, blog articles, and social media captions optimized for SEO and engagement.
- Create regular newsletters and campaign content aligned with brand voice and tone.
🎬 Content Production and Editing
- Collaborate with our in-house media team to shoot, edit, and publish content on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Ensure videos are edited with captions, transitions, and music that enhance viewer retention.
📱 Social Media Management
- Schedule and post across platforms while tracking analytics for reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Interact with followers, respond to comments, and promote user-generated content.
🧠 Market Research & Trends Monitoring
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in food, tech, and lifestyle media.
- Identify opportunities to create viral content and capitalize on trending hashtags or challenges.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in content creation, journalism, or hosting.
- Strong on-camera presence with clear verbal communication.
- Ability to write and edit content in both English and Amharic.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or other basic video editing tools.
- Confidence in managing social media platforms and engagement tools.
