Key Responsibilities That Define the Role
✔ Ensure Strict Compliance with Contractual Guidelines
- Supervise all construction operations on-site.
- Make sure every task aligns with contract specifications, designs, and performance standards.
✔ Manage Material Submissions and Consultant Approvals
- Coordinate the timely submission of all materials.
- Ensure compliance with consultants' and project engineers’ technical requirements.
✔ Lead on Method Statements and HSE Compliance
- Develop detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments in compliance with company HSE, QA/QC policies.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental best practices at every stage.
✔ Oversee Procurement and Long Lead Items
- Manage procurement schedules with Section Managers.
- Track material delivery timelines and address any procurement challenges that arise.
✔ Monitor Scope Changes and Notify Commercial Team
- Document and report all scope changes to the commercial department immediately.
- Avoid delays and contractual disputes through proactive communication.
✔ Ensure Commissioning and Final Deliverables
- Supervise Testing & Commissioning activities.
- Ensure spare parts, warranties, and defect liability requirements are finalized and signed off.
What You Need to Qualify
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing or supervising engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and site logistics.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and engineering documentation systems.
- A proactive attitude, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to lead on-site teams.
